I am now the second fastest Rebellion R-One around Le Mans... in the world. Now if only I could get it to do more than 3 laps in a stint I might have a chance in the Oppo Endurance championship (every other car can do at least 4 laps).

Nice thing about LeMans are the little breaks every few laps. I will have a cooler with diet dew and some jerky next to me.

My thing is I calculated that I would have to be at least 6 seconds a lap faster than any car running 4 lap stints to make up the time loss. That’s not to mention the cars that can do 5 laps or the toyota which can do 7.

What's the pit delta? I haven't tested yet.

Based on fast lap vs in and out laps it is about 35 seconds. Though now that I think about it my calculations were done with a delta of 65 seconds (i think I forgot to subtract the 4 minute outlap from the 3:30 fast lap in the corvette dp) meaning I am in with a much better shot than I thought I was.

EDIT: Doing the math correctly shows that over a 34 Lap race (roughly 1.5 hours at 3:30/lap) a 4 lap car has a 3 second per lap advantage (slightly smaller as the rebellion will only need just over 3/4 of a tank each stop) over a 3 lap car. Not great but possible.

Impressive. Also impressive is homeboy in the Koeningngngngngngngsegg.

It is damn impressive to get that kind of time, as well as the fact he somehow managed to get a 2 lap stint from it.

What I find impressive was the person running a 3:23 (not in the photo) with the GTR LM. I can only do a 3:36 with it (I really don’t like that car).

I haven’t spent much time in the GTR LM. I seem to recall it being an oversteery bastard. Maybe that was in GT6. Either way, give me the Porsche 919 if we’re talking LMP1. Love that thing.

I need to mess around with tuning the 919. I find it has too much understeer for me as well as the tiny windshield that gets blocked by the wheel when you turn. It’s the same issue I had with the Audis in forza 4.

My issue with the GTR LM is that as soon as you so much as look at the throttle it just does massive 1 wheel burnouts and goes straight. I could probably fix that just by locking the differential more under power but I haven’t been motivated to do so.

Yeah I don't really tune much. I felt like the Porsche fits my style out of the box, but pretty much all prototypes have shoddy sight lines. If I'm in traffic, I lean on the hood view.
